Who We Are
At Freedom in Christ Ministry, we base all of our beliefs on the authority of Scripture. In every way, we strive to maintain Biblical standards of living and leadership. We believe that living life according to God’s Word is the way to an abundant, fulfilling life.
We believe the Great Commission, where Jesus calls his people… “to go and make disciples of all nations.” This is the key to rebuilding and growing God’s church. For this reason, Freedom in Christ is not limited by four walls of a building to share the Word of God. We are a church without boundaries, committed to connecting with people no matter where they may stand in life.
Our goal is to bring spiritual guidance based on the Word of God to help teach, train, and restore those in need. Freedom in Christ Church is dedicated to engaging with everyone regardless of where they are in their spiritual journey, including those lost and broken. We strive to love and teach the Word of God through simplicity and understanding. We will always apply God’s Word effectively to transform hearts to accept the hope and love of Jesus Christ because true freedom can only be found in Christ.
What We Believe
The Bible
We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God and without error. The Bible is the authority on which we base our faith, conduct, and doctrine.
2 Timothy 3:16-17
The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe that God the Father is the Creator of the world and is actively involved in humanity. We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world. We believe that the Holy Spirit is continuing the work of Jesus upon the earth.
Matthew 28:19
Salvation
We believe that Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is only found by placing our faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.
Romans 5:8-9
Communion
We believe in regularly receiving Communion as an act of remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for us through dying on the cross. It is also a visible reminder of Christ’s love and that we can only live spiritually through Him.
1 Corinthians 11:24-25
Relationship with God
We believe that every believer should have a connection and growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, surrendering to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.
Philippians 3:12-13
